Club Championship

The club championship recognises effort and ability across a series of nominated races throughout the year. Races range from a local 5k race to longer distances up to half-marathons, with a mix of road, trail and hill races. In addition to the nominated races, runners can nominate extra wildcard races. Points are awarded based on time and age. See the rules (left) for a full explanation (or download the rules here).

The championship is open to everyone in the club, and we try to select races on their popularity and suitability for club runners. We support other local clubs with their races, and in turn, enjoy welcoming their runners to our races.

Winners of the club championship are presented with a trophy at the annual ceilidh and are given the opportunity to wear a personalised golden Harriers hoody - the most prized of all the Harriers club kit!
