Track & Field
We are keen to give our juniors the opportunity to take part in track and field competition and have identified a number of events that our athletes can enter. The Open/Open Graded events and Sprint Galas aim to seed races, not by age but by estimated times. This means that no matter what your performance level is, you should get a good race which will help you to a new PB! They are all very friendly and welcoming events and are a great place to start.
For the 2024/25 season, Track and Field age categories are based on your age as of 31st August 2025
- Under 11: Born 1 Sept 2014 – 31 Aug 2016
- Under 13: Born 1 Sept 2012 – 31 Aug 2014
- Under 15: Born 1 Sept 2010 - 31 Aug 2012
- Under 17: Born 1 Sept 2008 - 31 Aug 2010
- Under 20: Born 1 Jan 2006 - 31 Aug 2008
