Whangie Whizz hill race

For the last race of April, Jon Turnbull and Jim Reid took on the Whangie Whizz, one of the SHR Bog'n'Burn series. This is a proper old school hill race (i.e. cheap, no facilities), and is a short and sharp up and down, covering 5.8k and 229m ascent, up and down Auchineden Hill.
Jon and Jim were 2nd and 3rd M40 finishers respectively, finishing in 29.56 (11th overall) and 30.50 (13th overall).
The race was won by Ryad Chebbout of Shettleston Harriers in 25.33. There were 133 finishers.
