Always a big day in the Scottish running calender, the National Cross Country Championships saw some excellent efforts from 21 Harriers, junior and senior.
The U13 boys put in a great team performance for a 4th place in the team competition, while we had leading individual performances from Eilidh, 2nd in the U17 Women's race, and Harris Pagett, 2nd in the U20 Men's race.
For the Seniors, Graeme Warren was first Harrier home in 208th position, followed closely by Jonathan Turnbull (218th) and Jim Reid (335th), in a strong field of 637 finishers. In the Women's race, the irrepresible duo of Monica Thomson and Angela Mackenzie ran together to finish in 197th and 198th positions in a field of 286 finishers.
The Men's and Women's overall champions were Lynn Mckenna of Shettleston Harriers and Logan Rees of Fife AC.
