For the eighth race in the club championship, 11 Harriers made the short jaunt down to Milnathort for the 5.4 mile race. The race is a favourite with central Scotland clubs and features a short sharp uphill dash at the start (with King and Queen of the Mountain awards for first man and women to the top of the hill) and is famed for the quality and quantity of the buffet at the finish.
From Monica Warren: 11 harriers took on the Milnathort Dash on a sunny evening. Conditions were pretty good with a headwind on the way out and not too hot. Graeme was the first Harrier home and 1st MV40 and was followed in by (I think) Ross, Ronan, Monica T, Anna, Dave, Nicola, Monica W, Josie, Iain and Mags. A lovely atmosphere and a top notch buffet!
