Snow Running Glenshee 2025
Race Date: 01 March 2025
A race with a difference, the Snow Running event at Glen Shee features snow (obviously!), headtorches and three Munros. Ralph and Hanna McInally were joined by Jonathan Marks on the long course of 11.5km with 950m of ascent, over Meall Odhar, Carn Aosda and The Cairnwell.
From Hanna's report:
The weather was perfect last night with a gentle breeze, clear skies and some snowy patches. Ralph managed to win the 4th time in a row yesterday, followed by Jonathan in second position.I was neck on neck all the way with the First Lady but couldn’t stay with her for the last decent and came in second female and 11th overall.
The race comes highly recommended as a runner or as a spectator, with very welcoming race organisers. Sounds like a grand evening out!
