Ben Nevis hill race

The Ben Nevis race is one of the iconic races of the Scottish hill racing calendar. It's an up-and-down route on the Pony Track on the hill, starting and finishing at the New Town Park, in Fort William. However, as anyone who has been up Ben Nevis knows, it's far from straightforward, with rough terrain, and scree all the way.
This from Graeme Warren: Hanna McInally and Jonathan Turnbull headed to Ben Nevis for the latest round of this year’s SHR Championship. Although billed as a ‘medium’ length race on distance, a full ascent and descent of Ben Nevis was not to be sniffed at. Jonathan finished in 66th in 2:06:00, with Hanna in 142nd in 02:21:50 from a strong field of 417 finishers! Hanna was 14th woman.
The race was won by Sasha Chepelin of Carnethy in 1.38.04, and the women's race was won by Eve Pannone of Ambleside AC in 2.00.56.
