Well done to Stephen Ainslie who completed the 50-mile distance, from Stirling to Perth via the Ochils, in 9.50.58 for 68th place. An impressive run given the 2500m elevation gain . and demanding conditions underfoot for much of off-road route.
The race was won by Stuart Paterson of Ochil Hill Runners in a time of 7.42.54, and there were 21 finishers.
