Rattray Beaver half marathon

Race Date: 21 September 2025

Formerly known as the Rattray Blair half marathon, the revamped Rattray Beaver half marathon is a scenic and demanding half, with some stiff ascents to challenge the runners. This from John Myles: Early start for myself and Josie Goodfellow up to Blairgowrie this morning. Great day for running again with a cool start but warmed up pretty quickly with all the hills then the wind waited for the biggest hill to make an appearance. Congratulations to Josie finishing 3rd female

Very tough challenging route but was worth it for the amazing spread of food and cakes after the run, well organised and I hope the committee there get the numbers entering in the future they deserve for the hard work they put in.

John was 10th overall, while Josie was 22nd overall, 3rd woman.

The race was won by Gregg Parsons in 1.21.51, and the women's race was won by Carol Greig of Blairgowrie Runners in 1.51.59, and there were 49 finishers.
