Aonach Mor Uphill

Thanks to Hanna McInally for the following report: Happy new year from Aonach Mor Uphill Race! Jon Marks, Ralph McInally and I took up the challenge to run the 4km race (610m climb) up to the top station. It was really good conditions with some snow underfoot from the halfway point. Jon finished in the top 10; Ralph was a bit further back due to his “man flu” but was still happy to be racing, and I managed to get myself on to the podium in 2nd place.
Jonathan Marks finished in a time of 26.34 in 7th position, with Ralph not far behind in 29.19 in 15th position. Hanna finished in 31.42, 28th overall and second woman.
The race was won by Robin Downie of Lochaber AC in 25.00, and the women's race was won by Sarah Hodgson of Highland Hill Runners in 29.52.
