Thanks to John Myles for this race report: First time I’ve run this race but really enjoyed it, very friendly, local organised race, a challenging run on forest tracks, undulating start before the big hill at 5k but you are rewarded with good downhill sections after these and seemingly good views of Ben Lomond, anyone who knows my running head is down.
Would recommend if to anyone who fancies a 10k with a little workout in it. Was a good atmosphere with a kids 1km run before the 10k started.
So being only Harrier in the race I was first Harrier home in 52:30 for 10.43km.
John was 19th overall and 4th MV50. The race was won by Angus Moffat in 41.16.
