Race Director Phil Mestecky was happy to report: SWCHR 2026 - What a fantastic club effort! Saturday's race was probably the best we've ever put on in its 20 year history. We had more runners taking part than ever before and the atmosphere from start to finish was amazing. The club has pulled out all the stops to make this happen so, as race organiser, I just wanted to acknowledge all of you that have played your part. From strimming the bracken, to course marking, marquee building and dismantling, to stew-making, baking, sandwich and salad making, to registering, marshaling, time-keeping, car-parking, first-aiding, shuttle bus-driving and junior race organising and so much besides. A special thanks to the race organising committee of Gill and Dave, Hanna and Ralph, Jim and Rachel who have kept us on track from the beginning. And finally, an acknowledgement for the sponsors (Meadow Garage, Crieff, Comrie Croft, BrewDog and RTS Forestry) and all the landowners that have allowed us to tramp all over their land. Provisional date for next year: 28th August 2027. Save the date!
