Two Islands Half Marathon

The Two Islands Half Marathon is a scenic point-to-point road race starting on the Isle of Berneray and finishing in Lochmaddy on North Uist. The officially measured course follows quiet single track roads, crosses the Berneray causeway and offers uninterrupted coastal views for almost the entire route on a gently undulating course.
Thanks to Karen Best for this race report: A very scenic and undulating route from East Beach, Berneray to Lochmaddy, North Uist. The weather was very kind, with the first 8 miles being downwind, and the sun was shining for the finish. Great after-race food at the Lochmaddy Hotel and a bit of silverware (1st FV 50 and 4th female - 1:48:07) as a memento of the occasion. A super way to end our time on North Uist!
