Lindsays National Masters Cross Country Championships

Thanks to Monica Thomson for the following race report: Great club outing! Rain stayed off and mud was in fact very absent, even dry socks were reported.
Women and M65 categories raced first with a 3 lap undulating course. Jenny Dallas, as usual, paced perfectly, gliding past all of us in the second half, Ali Cunningham finishing close behind. I only just managed to catch Andy Gallagher on the final km. Not far behind us was Gill Dowse and then Mags Gough.
In the Men's V40-V60 age groups, 4 laps ran, very close racing throughout with Nick Gough managing to keep an edge, Graeme Warren hot on his heels finishing 2nd. Mike Thomson in 3rd place.

Andy Gallagher was our sole entry in the Men's 65+ category, raced with the women. Andy finished in 29.47, in 25th position in the M65 category.
In the Women's competition, the trio of Jenny Dallas, Monica Thomson and Gill Dowse finished in 11th position.
