Bishop Hill race
Race Date: 01 March 2026
The Bishop Hill race is a short and sharp 3.5km, 300m ascent, blast up and down from Scotlandwell to White Craigs on Bishp Hill. Both ascent and descent are very steep! This was the first race in the 2026 Club Championship, and 12 Harriers made a start to their Championship efforts.
First Harrier home, and 3rd overall, was Calum McBean in a time of 21.26. Next in, completing a very successful weekend after her first place the previous day at the Glenshee Snow Running race, was Hanna McInally, finishing as first woman and 19th position overall, in a time of 25.18.
Thanks to Monica Thomson for this report: A slippy slidey day out in Fife for a fab group of us tackling the start of our club champs 2026. A few falls and character building moments. Lomond Hill Runners put on lovely soup and hot drinks afterwards in the local village hall.

The men's race was won by Tom Spencer of Dark Peak Fell Runners in a time of 17.08, just 6 second off the course record set by Jamie Crowe in 2019.
