The Ba Duathlon is a beast of an event, featuring an 18 mile trail run on some of Scotland's finest mountain trails in the Torridon and Applecross region, climbing and descending 1,000m before taking on a 62 mile ride back to Kinlochewe.
The road ride section merges onto The Bà Sportive route, joining the Bealach Na Bà before continuing around the coast.
The duathlon features 3,000m of total elevation across the run and ride. Kay Grenfell tackled this event, finishing a time of 9:37:33, putting her in 26th place overall (and 8th female). She did particularly well on the Bealach climb, posting the 17th fastest climb.
