Rattray Beaver Half Marathon
Race Date: 20 September 2026
The Rattray Beaver is a hard hilly half marathon organised by Blairgowrie and District Rotary, starting and finishing near Rattray Primary School, with proceeds of the race going to local charities.
Runners can expect scenic and notably undulating courses through the surrounding countryside on quiet rural roads and have been accurately measured and a short section of rough track towards the end.
Thanks to Nicola Watson for the following race report: I did the Half today in great running conditions, a bit windy up top but not too hot. These are both very well organised charity races with a great post race buffet. It’s a very hilly but a beautiful quiet route and I had a great run: not my fastest, but felt strong on the hills, and there were a lot! 1st FV50 so very pleased with that.
Nic's time was 2.02.29, to finish 6th female. The overall winner was Ross Clark in 1.28.52, and the women's race was won by the legend Janet Dickson in 1.31.26
